OH MY GOD .... Biden's wife in traffic accident on I-95
Oh My God. That's horrible. As most of you know, his first wife and child were killed in a car crash years ago.

God help you and Jill, Joe. We love you both.

(Just reported on MSNBC, but happened just after 9 this morning.)

To me, the implication is that there are a lot of dumb-ass and drunk drivers on the road-- we all need to be careful and wary of them, and that not even the family members of our esteemed politicians are safe from them.

Sen. Biden's wife involved in I-95 crash
The News Journal
Updated Tuesday, January 15, 2008 at 3:37 pm

Delaware Sen. Joe Biden's wife Jill was involved in an accident on I-95 this morning, authorities said.

Police did not immediately release any details on the crash, but reportedly she was not seriously injured.

A spokesman for the senator's office declined to comment on "private family matters."

The accident happened about 9:45 a.m. in the southbound lanes near the Del. 141 interchange and closed the two right-hand lanes and caused delays, the Delaware Department of Transportation said earlier today.

I-95 near 141 is always a mess. Sounds like she's OK now, but was treated for minor injuries.

27. What the heck??
Huckabee's son was in a crash the night of the Iowa caucuses (I think).. then Edwards daughter gets hit by a drunk driver.. now this.

I think if you're running for president, maybe your family needs security detail as well.

What a strange set of coincidences?
