Look at this awesome license plate

Wish I'd thought of doing something like this when I changed license plates last year!

1. That is awesome
There probably had to be a lottery to see which one would win this personalized plate. LOL!

3. I'm surprised Maryland would allow it. Most states regulate what can be put on a license plate.

10. Is hot-linking permitted on DU? Not a good practice...
it's considered stealing another's purchased bandwidth.

Much better to get a free Photobucket account ... upload from the web to there ... then post the direct link to your own photobucket account in your post.

12. Good call.
flickr is another one and that pic that was posted is one flickr. I found tinypic.com, that's pretty good for if you don't want to log in to an account. it even resizes it for you depending on where you want to post it.

11. Fabulous ! wonder how long he will keep it - I had the NC one for ITMFA
(impeach the "Miserable Failure" already) and the Dept of Motor Vehicles pulled it.
I considered fighting them, but instead did not give it back to them as requested. I'm going to shadow box it for my grandson.

There were 3 in the country, they all got pulled

18. That's my car!
It always blows my mind to see pictures people have taken of my license plate -- it makes up for all the times I get nasty notes left on my windshield by semi-literate Bushies. I have had this plate for about two years, and I had the DC version for a year or so before that. There is someone in Virginia who had the WLIED plate first -- my inspiration. I was a little surprised that DC and MD allowed it too. Not only did they allow it, when I applied for it the woman behind the counter at Maryland DMV thought it was hysterical.
