2. On C-Span right now, Doug Baily , Head Unity 08
is explaining all about Bloomberg abilites as leader etc.

It sounds as if the draft movement is a way of establishing
a base. Determine if enough Americans would be interested
enough to vote.

Bailey. If Bloomberg runs he will be the next president.
He will run only if he can win.

However, this draftbloomgerg is a serious move IMO.

Go to C-Span.

3. As Hillary gains momentum, Draft Bloomberg gains momentum
No surprise there. Nader is also more inspired to run against her as well.

10. I think Bloomberg wants to get in the race against "polarizing" candidates.
I think his dream would be Clinton vs. Huckabee, since neither do well with independents.
He can spend a billion dollars on this and not blink.

14. Have you been following this story at all?
This Bloomberg issue is serious, and no one gives two shits about the fact that Clinton is from NY. He knows she is polarizing nationally, and sees that as his in.

15. He is unlikely to get in race if Clinton is candidate. If he does Dems could lose NY to Republican

16. Most people think he is MOST likely to get into the race if Hillary is the nom
She doesn't appeal to independents. He knows that.

I am not enthralled over this by any means.

5. Coming Up...Peter, Paul & Mary Sing Kumbaya
I forgot who the politician was who said it but the old axiom goes "the only things in the middle of the road are white lines and dead armadillos".

It's so nice to see all these political hacks salivating for a piece of that Bloomberg fortune.

9. I'd say it's a lot more likely if the nominee is Edwards, actually.
These Unity bozos are simply terrified that actual majorities of American citizens might have a say in how they're governed.

11. That's a different argument.
More people will vote if there's more candidates. The two parties are not entitled to run unopposed.
