Poll question: Do you think that Britney's custody situation proves that the legal system is biased to celebs?
I think the LA Courts are looking pretty f*cking lame right now.
Regardless of whether you care for Britney as a celeb or not, what
is happening there is mind boggling. I can think of no other NON FAMOUS parent who
would be afforded the same treatment.

As a child advocate, watching the story unfold is heartbreaking.
Those poor children.

I keep wondering when THEY will be put first by the Judge.
Britney has defied every court order. Do celebs just not have to follow the laws?

1. I don't know why she would even get to see her kids at this time. She's got serious mental probs!
I don't think she's well at all.

It's baffling that almost on a daily basis she pisses on the legal system
and they keep bending over for her.

I just wonder, really, WTF is going on in the judges mind?

.. and should just support that, you know, and be faithful in what happens.

5. If Britney wasn't a celebrity, the judge would order an Anti-Britney Force Field
to be put around those kids.

6. She is receiving special treatment
Los Angeles is a beast of its own, particulary in terms of the entertainment industry. It is one of the most convoluted, confusing and merciful industries in the world-particularly if you can make money for a corporation.

9. It's SICK that the judge seems to have no care for the children in all of this
She just keeps on keeping on.

8. It's very difficult and time consuming in California...
Attempting to get child custody away from a natural mother is terribly hard to do. You practically have to get the mother to shoot heroin in front of a judge. It took my brother 5 years to get physical custody from his crack-whore ex-wife, then another five years of her screwing up and not doing what the judge ordered her to do before he was awarded full custody. And the freak is still causing him grief... This is the short version of a long and hideous story of drug testing, rehab promises, etc. She did everything but shave her head, I kid you not.

The good news is, both are doing excellent in high school and will be 18 in a few years. My brother is broke, but happy.

10. People Are being Held Without Habeus Corpus Rights...
And subjected to torture by your Government...1000s in secret jails...and this is where you start advocating for reform? Until basic rights are enforced we may as well discuss whether witches will float because our rights predate those.
