I watched Real Time with Bill Maher last night and...

He desperately needs his writers back
He had no opening skit
His monologue was flat
There was no New Rules segment
And he resorted the to the fool on the street interview because that writes itself
It was fun watching him hammer that asshole Tony Snow but...
I hope the writers come back soon (with everything they are fighting for)

2. I thought the show was entertaining even without the writers. It certainly always

is informative with the panel and the guests. Certainly the writers are missed. But it was a show well worth watching anyhow.
