Someone asked, "Have Obama and Edwards made a deal?"
Suppose they had? What if they agreed to both go all the way to the convention in Denver with their delegates and the one that had the least amount of delegates would agree to give his delegates to the other? That would do two things: It would keep Hillary from getting 50% and it would give either Edwards or Obama enough delegates to capture the nomination. Maybe they didn't make this deal? Maybe they should have?? :-)

3. Edwards has made a deal.
He made it before New Hampshire....he was ambivalent to expose his hand during the debate...but he has limited impulse control....he showed his bond with Obama.

5. Wouldn't surprise me in the least
I support Senator Edwards' play regardless. I believe he is playing where his heart and soul dictates is best for this country.

6. pointless speculation
just support the candidate of your choice, for crying out loud. Why waste energy on inventing intrigue?

12. If Edwards does not win a state very soon...
Either NV or SC, it will be likely that his delegates will eventually go somewhere.

My guess --- Obama. Maybe not until late spring --- but they will go to somebody.

I doubt Edwards and Obama struck a deal, but somethings need no formality.

If Edwards folks go to Obama - Obama wins. If Edwards makes an amazing come back, I'd wager Obama delegates would go to him.

In both cases, Hillary loses - which would keep us from getting our asses kicked in the GE.

Obama or Edwards - I could work for either and expect to see one of them as our nominee!

13. HELL NO. Obama is worse than Hillary, and I wouldnt vote for either. John better
not make a deal with Obama - I would feel really betrayed.

Obama is cozy with Joe Lieberman who was his mentor.
At least Hillary never hid or pretended she didnt take big money from lobbiests
Obama goes around , who me Mr. innocent, like he never took a dime. He's on the hook from the biggest and the worst lobbiests.

14. I wish all of the Democratic candidates would make a deal...
I would like nothing better than listening to the Freeper heads explode when the next president finds a position for every one of the Democratic candidates, along with Wes Clark, in his/her cabinet.
