Obama plane clips wing of parked plane

CHICAGO - An aircraft carrying Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama clipped the wing of a parked plane as it was taxiing at Chicago's Midway Airport early Saturday.

Obama spokesman Ben LaBolt said there were no injuries. Onboard were Obama, several staff members and the aircraft's crew.

Federal Aviation Administration spokeswoman Elizabeth Isham Cory said no one was aboard the parked plane.

The left wing of Obama's plane, a Gulfstream II, hit the right wing of the parked plane, a Cessna 208, at around 2:30 a.m.

The National Transportation Safety Board is leading an investigation, which could take weeks or months to complete, Cory said.
