Mine:

Secretary of:

Agriculture: Jon Tester
Interior: Bruce Babbit
Commerce--not sure
Justice: John Dean
Defense: Wesley Clark
Labor: Robert Reich
Education: Jean Naasz
State: Joe Biden
Energy: Al Gore
Transportation: blondeatlast
Commerce: John Edwards if available (hopefully he wouldn't be--sigh)
Health: Joycelyn Elders
Treasury: not sure
Homeland Security: NONE, the seat is abolished
Veteran's affairs: Max Cleland
Housing and Urban Development: Barack Obama if available

Edit: Transportation: blondeatlast (frequent flier/driver/world traveler/Simcity wonk...)

Sorry for the edit; I hit enter before I was through.

All are subject to negotiation, of course--but the Senate damn well better confirm this bunch.

1. Good choices. I would rather see Edwards as AG, if avaiable.
John Dean would make a great Chief of Staff-
At treasury - Rubin (sp)

2. I do have hope. I have hope that this cabinet is headed by
John Edwards!!!Transportation has got to be headed by someone who enjoys travel, and hates HLS.

3. If you notice, I abolished Homeland Security.
Maybe I should nominate myself for Transportation!

I think I will.

5. He's a man of true conscience--
without him Nixon might never have been seriously taken to task since none of his inner circle was willing to break from him.

(And: Hee, hee, hee--so did I!)

8. How about Rocky Anderson (outgoing Salt Lake City mayor)?

Impressive fellow.

Side note: Biden has shown up often, if not alwyas, when this question comes up. Lots of respect for him.
