Have any candidates spoken out against this Real I.D. bullshit?

I would like to hear someone speak out against it. From my understanding, American citizens - Democrats and Republicans - are against this proposal by a huge majority. And today, Skeletor Chertoff came out to try and sell it once again. Ain't it about time that the people told the Homeland Security and this White House to stick it where the sun don't shine??
