The "news" is full of B.S. (Britney Spears) and Anna - where's Scooter?

Over the past week, the headlines about BS/Anna Nicole have been quadruple that of anything of substance--like, say...the Scooter Libby trial.

America is becoming fat and lazy on a fast-food news/tabloid diet. Most don't even recognize the damage that their poor news diet is doing to the fabric of the country. What will change our news consumption habits?

Of course when you see a story like that, you have to know how much planning goes into distancing the "administration" from the facts and the damaging information when it's reported. Alas, it's there, but nobody's to blame (when I, for one, KNOW who is to blame).
