Republicans kicking and screaming on C-Span (House)
Republicans telling Dems they are "abusing their power" and being inconsiderate of the minority. Priceless!

7. Yeah. They have to raise a fuss or Alberto stops firing the prosecutors after them
If they are loyal little bots and follow the script, the AG will get after those big, mean prosecutors investigating all their past crimes. If they manage to get anywhere with their dog & pony show and start affecting poll numbers, Alberto will reward them with nice, cuddly prosecutors who will make them cookies and tuck them into their nice safe beds...

Tit of Tat - neocon junta style.

Edited on Wed Jan-24-07 10:58 AM by librechik
and they're lying that they're being poorly treated by us.

Besides, to them, it's a tactic. They are trying their best to waste our time so we can get less things done. No one believes those hardboiled roosters really have hurt feelings.

8. The Republicans set the precedent for bipartisan cooperation.
Message to GOP:

Please refer back to the last six Congressional sessions, when you were in control of the House and Senate for specifics on bipartisanship.

You will find you are being treated better than you treated the Democrats. So shut the f*ck up!

10. why? are the republicans being forced into the basement?
Edited on Wed Jan-24-07 11:03 AM by GloriaSmith
yep. I didn't think so. If they want to know what abuse of power really is, all they have to do is close their eyes and think back to less than a month ago...or maybe longer since they hardly showed up for work last year.

ugh. Abuse of power because the Democrats think that delegates in DC should have a vote? :eyes: On edit: it's not even for a full vote. Freaking ridiculous.

28. It was Dreier earlier. He's another champion whiner. I
foolishly thought that when the 100 hours agenda was over that they'd stop. I agree. Very childish behavior from people who should know better.

26. These people are the biggest hypocrites on the planet.
They whine because Dems bring legislation straight to the floor instead of going to committee. They must have forgotten about all the damn bills the "Hammer" brought straight to the floor without giving the Dems the chance to discuss the bill in committee or offer amendments.

Yeah payback is a you know what. DeLay is gone and they are helpless without him.
