Obama interrupted by abortion protesters...
In Rochester, NH, Obama was shouted down for about 5 minutes by a group of abortion protesters. He was taken aback a little by the protest. He is on C-SPAN at the moment.

3. Maybe he, you know,
is concerned with why they don't like his policies. Not everyone is as callous as edwards or HRC.

16.  Please inform yourself. There have been serious threats on his life
He has massive SS coverage. Abortion protest nuts have been known to murder. How the hell did they get in there?

34. Not been to too many Pres. candidate rallies have you?
I've been to several and I can tell you that while Dems don't deny entrance to anyone (Republicans demand those loyalty oaths), they do exercise strict controls over signs and audience participation. At a Kerry rally I attended in '04, a small group of Bushies pulled out banners and started hollering. They were quickly escorted off the premises. It really is a safety issue. These are emotionially charged events with packed crowds. If a fight breaks out, people can get killed.

31. So did anyone get tased? (My guess is no)
Tasers are only for people standing up for their rights, not trying to shut them down.

Clearly unqualified to hold office. Our candidates must be inhuman automatons. :eyes:

But I would not go as far as you to say he was "unqualified to hold office."

and seeing how he responds to resistance and protest will say a lot about his ability to stand up to the unbelievable pressure the next Dem president will face.

5. Bastards!
Those fucking bastards.

Not only do they want to take away the right of every woman to choose, it also appears they want to take away the right of people to listen to a candidate.

Small-minded little bigots.

24. This is DU
We believe in democracy, you know, that everyone should be heard and has a right to protest. Let's not get upset and start putting protesters in free speech zones blocks away from the speaker they wish to protest. They could be pro-choice and the speaker could be Mitt Romney. This is still American, right?

23. Yep
I'd be mighty tempted to let their little tantrum die down of its own accord, then turn to them and say, "If you don't want abortion, may I respectfully suggest you don't have one, gentlemen." Because I'd bet a dollar to a hole in a doughnut that none of the rabble raising the ruckus was a woman.
