Edited on Mon Jan-07-08 03:27 PM by Proud2BAmurkin
AND stupid. First, there isn't a big difference between any of them. Edwards and Clinton supported the IWR but wouldn't have launched the war. Any REPUKE would. Obama voted for the patriot act after he said he wouldn't. They're all successful politicians so they're all phonies and compromisers.

Anyone who wouldn't vote for any of them against any current RePUKE is a lunatic groupie.

Yes indeed
I've promised myself I won't get too emotional on DU anymore but you hit the nail on the head. I do chuckle sometimes when I read that a person won't vote for (a democrat.) If the alternative is any (republican?) What you said.

I don't give a rats ass if you are related to a Republican, as I am, they are supporting fascist criminals. :dem:

Yes, the Republicans are the bad guys, but I want to see our Dem representatives operating by a higher standard.

10. Amen! I know I'm new here, but...
The levels of idiocy displayed by some folk is mind-boggling. I love Edwards, and think he's the best candidate in the race.But...

We've got some damn fine candidates, boyos. I could (and will) enthusiasticly campaign for WHOEVER wins the nomination. Last time around, I had to hold my nose to vote for Kerry, and campaigned not at all. Not true this time. We've got the best crop in memory, and if we dems are going to take back this country, we've got to STOP eating our own young. Otherwise we just play into the hands of the reich-wing.

20. sorry but I don't fall in love with candidates or stocks
I've never seen a successful TV era politician who was authentic and I don't hold it against them either. This is a divided country and they need to eak out over 50% to win. If you're authentic you can't do it unless you're authentically dead center moderate and no national politician is that. They all were motivated to get into the business by ideals of one kind or another.

14. I agree. Everyone knows full well no 3rd party candidate can be elected....
Not at this moment in time anyway. For that, the method of voting in this country has to first be changed, and legislation is needed for that.

That being the case, if a Dem refuses to vote for a Dem, in my eyes they're a Republican. No ifs ands or buts about it.

25. So then, what is a primary vote to put a PUKE up for the "Democratic" Nomination?
The DLC are 'PUKES. Especially anyone who promotes themselves as one of their "leaders".
