If he had his way, Sen. Jay Rockefeller would find a means of eliminating the political conventions as one reform in an election process for which he holds much disdain.
Since he is a convention delegate, Rockefeller is duty-bound to attend the gathering of Democrats next summer to nominate a candidate for president.
At this stage, he isn’t affixing his star to any aspirant’s wagon, be it Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama or John Edwards.
