About MSNBC: is it they can't find anybody willing to go against H&C?

I can't believe there isn't an option at 9:00 to rival H&C.

1. There was talk of a show headed possibly by a woman to air either before or after KO.

Alison Stewart had my vote on that go-around. I think she's sensational.

P.S. I'm sick to death of MSNBC tours of prisons and think those shows should be deep sixed, along with all the NBC "Predator" set-ups.

But, last time I looked, nobody wanted to put me in charge of the asylum...

Ms Stewart (a hottie, btw) has moved to NPR's Bryant Park Project, M-F 6a-9a. I guess MSNBC missed the boat, because they had a morning show opening, and Alison would be much better than Joe Scarborough.

9. She had her hair straightened. Naturally curly hair is beautiful, but I guess she got sold on Chi.

8. Know about Alison moving on; unfortunately, the NPR stations in this market don't carry

Bryant Park. I am a radio volunteer at Oregon Public Broadcasting and would have heard it.

Also, I think the timing was off by a couple of months. Alison started Bryant Park last spring, if I am correct. Didn't Don Imus get taken off several months later -- leaving that morning opening at MSNBC?

2. They still have Dan Abrams' show at 9, FWIW

but that's only four nights a week. Fridays they go right to the prison docs or whatever.

6. Abrams did a piece on Don Siegelman. He promised to stay on the story.

Abrams has been getting some of the glow from KO's show.

I like the idea of Rachel Maddow for the Friday hour.
