Cheney, POd that Mccain dissed Rummy: threat or knowing him well?
Cheney: “I just fundamentally disagree with John. John said some nasty things about me the other day, and then next time he saw me, ran over to me and apologized. Maybe he'll apologize to Rumsfeld.”

1. The Conversation Went Something Like This.....

McCain: Hi Dick, you know I said some nasty things about you the other day. You know I didn't mean them. I was just pandering for votes so I can take over where you and George leave off. Don't take offense.

Dick: I'm glad to see you learned well from us John. You'll be a credit to the Party. I got a suggestion for you - you might want to do the same to Rummy. Nothing helps position you better than kicking a person when he is down. You remember how we had to dump on you during the primaries 7 years ago. I'll pretend that I'm pissed at you - but - you'll know I'm not.

McCain: Thanks Dick - I knew you'd understand. And thanks for the suggestion - I think I'll integrate it into my campaign. Oh - and tell George I might take some shots at him in the future - but let him know that I really won't mean them. You know - I'm doing it for the Party.

2. A lot more truth to that post than some want to admit

The republics are fucking idiots, but they're not totally stupid. They know their party faithful are pissed off at them and don't like George OR Dick. In order for ANY republic party member to stand a chance of "winning" in 08, he'll need to slam Georgie and Dick and their policies. People just aren't going to vote for ANYONE who supports these assclowns. Not gonna happen. But McCain is right on board with Bush's perpetual war plan, and I'm sure they'd be happy to be able to install him and maintain the status quo.

We already know these men have no soul, no inner core of "goodness" or decency. They're in it for money and only money. If McCain has to slap 'em around at a couple lame-o fundraisers in the corn belt, do you think Dick cares? As long as his trillion dollar treasury checks clear, McCain can do or say anything he wants...he'll still keep the war profits rolling along for them.

McCain is a snivelling whore. I'm sorry for disparaging the hard working prostitutes and people which nasal maladies, but it's the truth. He has completely lost any moral compass as he tries to grab the gold ring before he finally meets his maker. THEN he'll have some 'splainin to do.

3. Cheney accusing someone of speaking of him in a nasty manner?
Oh the irony! This from the man whose name is now synonymous and interchangable with the suggestion to go fuck oneself.
