What has swung it for me is that Gore Vidal has said that he finds Hillary very intelligent and a wonderful, warm character in person. So, with the endorsement of a very sage guy like Vidal she has my backing. I will assume some of her positioning is playing the game. But please Hillary make Obama running mate 2 historic firsts would be great for America and Obama can whip up an audience.

1. Merle Haggard is in her camp, too.
So the last of the belle lettres and the first of the redneck rebels are on her side. That's quite a range.

2. Hillary?
If Bill Clinton is like a brother to Bush what is Hillary to the Bush interests. Hillary has to be honest and not pander for money. Plus, Her goal of 75 million is like buying the election. We need honesty not fund raising lingo. where and who is the real Hillary?

6. Bush2 needs Clinton2 to coverup for him the way Clinton1 did for Bush1.
When is this country going to wake up to the abusive cycle of secrecy and privilege? Never, if the Democrats refuse to lead with honest and open government we certainly can't expect the Republicans to do so.

8. What?
Clinton is not like a brother to Bush, Hillary is as honest as any other politician about money, and her goal of 75 million is the difference between a Democrat winning or a Republican winning. We need someone who can win, not someone who gets 40% of the votes but makes a couple of dreamers somewhere happy in the way they lose.

As for who Hillary is... We're still waiting to see who anyone is. Obama has a book, Hillary has a long voting record and a longer speech record to give you an idea. The other candidates give us glimpses. None of them are consistent, none of them speak their mind without campaigning, and the only reason Hillary seems more ambiguous to so many DUers is because they've drunk the Koolaid the Swiftboaters are pouring. I haven't decided who to support, and I won't support her until I hear her actual plan on Iraq and Iran, but I'm not counting her out just because a bunch of people got whipped into a frenzy by unsupported Drudge reports and a bunch of lies spewed by Republican trolls.
