Blog: "Co-Dependent Congress Must Wake Up...The President is Crazy As A Loon"
This is from a week ago, but I don't think that I saw it posted here...

Co-Dependent Congress Must Wake Up: The President Needs a Straight-Jacket and a Padded Cell

It’s time to simply admit the obvious: The president of the United States is crazy as a loon, and the Congress and the media are functioning as co-dependents as he runs the country off a cliff.

Bush says in his latest press conference that he is “certain” that Iran is providing “technically sophisticated” roadside bomb weapons to Iraqi insurgent forces to help them to kill Americans. He probably is “certain.” But nobody else of consequence in the government is, and the evidence to support his claim is simply not there.

- snip -

This seems to be the attitude in Congress and the media. The Democrats, who could put the president in a richly deserved straightjacket, are afraid to take that step. The media are afraid the president and his crazy backers would howl if they pointed out how nutty he has become.
So they all let him rant on, as though he were making sense.

- snip -

Co-dependency is a condition where people associated with a sick person enable that person to ruin not only their own lives, but the lives of others, because of an inability to confront the sick person. It happens in families, and it is happening today to the American nation. Co-dependency destroys families, and it has the potential now to destroy the lives of thousands of Americans, tens or hundreds of thousands of innocent Iranians, and perhaps America itself.

1. Bush has been delusional for many years
All those who want to be President should be required to take a mental fitness test. I want to know the personality quirks going in to the game!!!

6. He is sick and needs to be impeached, post haste
before he tries to go mano y mano with Mahmoud. Bush reminds me of one of those ornery cowboys in the old western, who carries a rusty gun, just itchin; for a showdown out front of the saloon.

3. Dems have Battered Spouse Syndrome
We need help. We can't bring ourselves to challenge him.

Some of our caucus (Lieberman) have even developed Stockholm Syndrome.

7. I object
"crazy as a loon" makes him sound like he's just daft, like loveable but quirky Uncle Joe.

He's a PSYCHOPATH, not a loon. He's a serial killer on a geopolitical scale: he kills people on death row with glee even though they've not had a fair trial or are innocent, he kills innocent civilians in Iraq, he kills GIs under his care, he kills innocent Americans through pollution and the current and coming horrors of climate change. And he destroys whole nations and cultures -- Iraq, and the U.S., and whateer else he gets his hands on.

He's NOT just daft.

8. People with personality disorders are not just "crazy"
you are correct. Bush is a classic case of NPD and they are far, far worse than your run-of-the-mill loon whose worst actions usually include talking to themselves, seeing flying saucers every night and occasionally wetting their own pants. You're right, he loves suffering and death.
