I've seen some of the most inarticulate anchors ever on CNN. I was never the "golden throat" or anything when I was in broadcasting but I at least tried to work out in my own head what I was going to say before I spat it into the microphone. Uhhs, errs, ummms, were big no nos.

10. Last night I watched the BEST mini-series.. It was an Italian subtitled

4 parter on Sundance.. Wow.. it as a great one.. If it's rerun, it's well worth reading the subtitles for hours & hours..

I tend to turn the volume to MUTE when he's droning on (because you know all he's saying is HAPPENING NOW, ONLY IN THE SITUATION ROOM) and then unmute when something else comes on.
