Obama Attacks Gore in Iowa
From Taylor Marsh

"I don't want to go into the next election starting off with half the country already not wanting to vote for Democrats, we've done that in 2004, 2000." - Barack Obama

Not only does Mr. Obama attack Kerry, but he goes after Al Gore, someone with impeccable credentials who the entire Democratic party rightly respects. As for 2000, I think Mr. Obama needs an American history lesson. Seriously, is there no Democrat Mr. Obama won't attack for his own ends?

5. Taylor Marsh is such a dumbshit
At no point does he "attack" Al Gore. He stated exactly what happened in the last two elections. Unless my recollection is wrong, I seem to remember the last two presidential elections being pretty fucking close to 50/50 with our side getting fucked both times.

9. They were only close if you accept the rigged tallies.
Even so, Gore handily won the popular vote, as did Kerry according to the exit polls.

12. Let me get this right, you do want half the country against you from the start?
Obama is running against Clinton not Gore and that statement makes perfect sense. You people take these arguments way too seriously...I mean, they are trying to tell you why they, and not the other guy, is worthy of support.

47. how does it make sense? This argument of his makes no sense.
What is he suggesting? That unlike Gore or Kerry, the republicans like him? Where the hell is he getting that idea? The negative poll numbers are silly. They showed Kerry ahead of Bush--and we see where that got him.

His argument is a stupid right-wing attack argument.

...but shit like this isn't going to convince anyone. If this is what your campaign consists of, I want no part of it. I am grateful that by and large, Clinton supporters don't engage in this kind of bullshit.

41. lol...
I'm sorry...But NOTHING compares to the Obamawannabe supporters....I have seen NOTHING but EMPTY attacks towards Hillary on DU and HUFF. I have read some very nasty statement about Hillary and how Hillary supporters are making some DUer's and HUffer's hate her even more...WELL because of your endless attacks and vitriol toward her and your blind lockstep(yeah lockstep...just like a righty...!)moronic slurs and picking at every nuance and then TURN around and defend Obama for the same or WORSE thing/issue. Unfortunately I have seen the light...and do not like what has been revealed on the Obama side.

If this is NEW and IMPROVED SHINY CHANGE...Keep it! Obama has been quietly running a dirty and hypocritical campaign for months ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!

18. Out of order
Gore not only won the popular vote in 2000, but victory was stolen from him by the Supremes.

Instead of exposing the electoral fraud, he's turning on his own. Pathetic.

26. Where does he mention Al Gore?
Oh, that's right he doesn't. He talks about how closely divided the country was in the past two elections, and suggests that he could draw votes from disenchanted republican voters and indies. He may be right. He may not be. But it isn't an attack on anyone. And your suggestion that he's rovian is bullshit. I stood up for Clinton when that was thrown at her. It's disgusting to see someone who howls about the Clinton attacks use the same garbage they whine about.

29. You do know who was on the ticket he mentions, don't you?
Obama dodges about by not naming names - so he gets a pass?
Well, I'm not naming names, but I think a certain first term Senator from Illinois shouldn't get a pass.

42. i love John Kerry and Obama is the only one of the major candidates
who has shown respect to Kerry.

Obama is the only one that appeals to me. i would have supported Kerry if he ran and was disappointed when he didn't. but i'm glad i have a candidate i can get behind in Obama.

another thing, even IF Obama did mention Kerry's name i would STILL vote for Obama.

i wish people would stop lying about what Obama said here.
