that's exactly how they operate: they get an idea from something that just pops up, whether it's a bogus story, or just someone on the right "imagining" that something could possibly happen. it's all they need. they just GO with it, and the M$M obliginly picks it up, without checking, just like the Gaffney/Lincoln "quote" that they used in the House.

they don't CARE if anything is true; only that it's been SPOKEN/WRITTEN somewhere. it's very existence is proof that it's true
