The "theory" (another semantic nightmare) is called Natural Selection. Evolution, on the other hand, is a FACT -- as well-established as the color of the sky and the chemical composition of table salt. When fundies spew their "just a theory" talking point, the first thing I do is correct them on this. You should see their jaws go slack when they realize their rehearsed script isn't going to work on me.

Evolution is a fact. The "theory" is natural selection - which is one method of evolution, but not the only one.

And then there's the whole matter of the term "theory" in science meaning something rather different than it means in common useage, but try explaining that to the fundies....
