MSNBC Poll: What was your overall impression of the State of the Union speech?
10% - He's saying the right things, we'll see if it works

11% - He is tring to lead a divided country in a strong manner

11% - It doesn't matter what he says, the Democrats won't work with him

64% - He still doesn't get the message sent in November

4% - None of the above

-- blue tie for bush, purple tie for Cheney

-- camera shot of Lieberman as only one on Democratic side clapping along with Repubics

-- Synchronized drinking by bush and cheney

-- McCain "sleeping"?

-- took him approx. 27 minutes to first mention September 11

11. It's so very nice that MSRNC can try to dillute the poll with
three positives for Bush and one negative for the Dems with only one neg for Prezdent Monkeynutz.

It still didn't work for them, though.

14. different poll but..
did anybody hear about the poll that showed before the speech that 45% of people "approve" of the troop surge and now 52% do? I heard it on a news radio station this morning and it puzzled me for two reasons: 1) wasn't disapproval of this strategy much higher than 55% pre speech? And I know that he could have gotten a bump but 7%? Just wondering if anybody knew the source of this poll. I usually find this radio station pretty good...:shrug:
