Top Ten Things I am Thankful for
Edited on Tue Dec-25-07 12:57 AM by sjdnb
tonight/this holiday ....

10) The dogs didn't have an accident on the rug while we were at the in-laws this year.
9) I have three packs of cigarettes and a 24-pack of Miller Genuine Draft (much needed after the in-laws, did I mention they are almost all Republicans?).
8) I got all of my gift shopping done and we could still afford to buy groceries for tomorrow.
7) The grocery store had ONE fruit tray and a rib roast left.
6) My hubby and I made it through the in-laws festivities without a scratch and there was no dog hair in the cookie tins I packed for friends and relatives.
5) The kids are in bed and I can wrap and deliver to the tree before 3am.
4) The kids are old enough not to want toys that require five hours of assembly.
3) All of my children, their S/Os, and the hubby will be here tomorrow.
2) All of my children, their S/Os, and the hubby are healthy.
1) We will be able to relax, eat, drink, and truly enjoy each other.

I wish all DUers the peace and contentment I feel tonight.

4. Did you say 'walk down by the beach'?
OK, now I might not feel so thankful.

:sarcasm:

It's 0 degrees here and we just came out of three days of fog/blizzard conditions.

5. Yes, we did walk down by the beach after dinner...
The Santa Ana winds are starting to blow again, and this leads to warm conditions...

Sorry about your weather, sweetie...
