Lamestream media pushes Edwards out of the race...
...According to NPR all day, Edwards doesn't EXIST. He's the ONLY other candidate polling in the double-digits but NPR and all the lamestream media outlets act like he dropped dead!

We can argue that it's because he's not polling high enough or we can argue that he's not polling high enough because the media IGNORES him (MY opinion is the latter). Same with Kucinich and others.

I H8 the f*cking lamestream corprat media.

5. More Newspapers to Ask
nice web site!

Lots of people to ask why if they will do their jobs as journalists and cover what's happening in the campaign instead of some imaginary campaign...

2. I share your disgust and opinion, they nearly always just talk Obama & Clinton on most networks
thankfully some don't, like MSNBC.

6. Believe me, I know how you feel! The MSM never let my candidate get IN
the running.

But I really find it surprising that they're ignoring Edwards -- his numbers have been really good lately, haven't they?

15. Yep - his numbers have been worth consideration, at least, as one of the top 3...
..but oh-so-interestingly, they continue ignoring him.

9. It would only get worse
under the new FCC rule.

People who believe this is a PR issue obviously don't understand how the media works. PR helps, but the GOP shill media is protecting its corporate interests.

18. Yep. It becomes a PR issue for the candidate but you're right...
...they're protecting their corprat butts. To heck with fairness or accurate reporting - they just ignore news and candidates that might hurt their bottom line - and we get what's left - crap, half the story, no story, misinformation, disinformation, non-information.

'Tis why I call 'em Lamestream media.

...unless someone reverses everything the Republicans have done in the last, hmm...since...well, since Reagan.

Lamestream is good.

12. This is why the system itself is a joke.
Edward's populism means that corporate media has a vested interest in ensuring that he does NOT get nominated. Corporate America believes that Hillary will be friendly to them and that Obama can be controlled enough to be acceptable. (Note: that's what I think they believe - I'm not ready to say that its true, not intended as an attack.) No other candidates poll high enough to be a concern to them - except Edwards, the only serious problem for them on the Democratic side.

13. I figure they're protecting their corprat asses....
...and they want candidates who will help them. That's what was funny about the Des Moines Register endorsement in 2004 as compared to now. In '04 Edwards TALKED about "Two Americas". NOW, though, he has some VERY SPECIFIC plans as to what he intends to DO about that issue. And they don't WANT a President who will DO anything about it - just someone who will give it lip service and leave the status quo as is.

16. They shit their pants at the mere THOUGHT of "President Edwards"
The media whores will actually have to pay their fair share of taxes. Wouldn't that be tragic?

...and start helping someone else besides them.
