Dear Dan,

So I guess the situation at Walter Reed is solved, the Iraq war is won, and all is quiet in the world. I figure nothing is going on in Iran, India, Pakistan or Israel. There were no US campaign speeches or legislative issues to discuss. No investigative committee meeting or the like. The Supreme Court had the day off, I suppose. There were no crimes committed or solved.

I can only assume this ‘cause you guys spent an awful lot of time covering what might happen to Anna’s body. I mean, if that’s the most important thing going on in the world right now, we must be in pretty great shape, right?

Well, enough channel surfing – it’s time for the little one to watch Blue’s Clues and then I guess the TV can go off. No need to catch up on the news later when there’s obviously nothing going on, anywhere.
