There once was a man from Washington
Who would bomb other countries just for fun
His "boss" was quite thick
And his name was Dick
But it was not just his name, he was one

To exacerbate Democrats' ire
Dick Cheney assembled a pyre,
And the evidence burned
So that nothing was learned;
In a word, he fought files with fire.

3)Xipe Totec
The Shrub had a fervent belief,
he could grow by becoming a thief
by the time he was finished
his size so diminished,
that he changed from a Bush to a leaf.

4)Demnan
There once was a man named Kucinich
Who would never eat meat, only spinach
But he showed his reach
when he billed to impeach
Now the Main Stream Media Cringes

5)Xipe Totec
I think I'm becoming obsessed,
with creating the Limerick best:
"To be truly sublime,
it should do more than rhyme...
it should skewer George Bush and the rest".

6)Parche
There once was a female from Delaware
Shopping at Best Buy without a care
Drinking Vodka all day long
While going thru the tollbooth listening to her Led Zeppelin song

There once was a gang who when needed
would break laws and skate un-impeded
and later we learned
that the evidence burned
and the people it seems have been cheated

Though Pelosi could easily disable
Bush's dastardly crimes she'd enable
and though the whole while
the evidence would pile
Impeachment was still off the table

There once was a man named Al Gore
who chose not to run in '04
it still ain't too late
for a run in '08
but he probably won't so we're fucked.

If not, I'll choose #3 based on it's general historic sweep, although I really liked the pun-within-the-limerick of "files with fire."
