As a disabled man who depends on SS to be able to even eat, I've been no fan of Ron Paul
But I was just listening to Jeff Farias on Nova M

and he played a clip of Paul in an interview on Faux this week

And he quoted Sinclair Lewis

"When Fascism comes to America it will be wrapped in a flag and carrying a cross"

I've got to give credit where credit is due

1. Before you get too excited,
Here's some more stuff Ron Paul had to say.

4. He's a literate and observant racist villain. I like him so much better now.

5. Yeah, my take is just that Paul is good for the Republicans.
He's reminding them that they didn't always used to be big spending big mommy security state pissing on the constitution fascist ass kissers...And to be frank, Its good to see the old conservatism back. Doesn't mean I agree with it, but its better than Bush.

7. His populist rhetoric is window dressing for an extremely conservative "state's rights" agenda
Personally, I cringe whenever I hear the "state's rights" dogwhistle. Wants to overturn Roe v. Wade. Has a list of government agencies he wants to abolish or starve, but only generalities and vague platitudes about how to replace their functions. He's a nut, and it grieved me to hear Kucinich speculate about joining forces with him.
