From the moment they conspired to steal the election in 2000, bad things have happened to this Administration. Today's fire at the Old Executive Office Building is just the latest in a long line of disasters and unexplainable events.

From the moment early in the Administration when a submarine, with a bunch of Enron executives on board, surfaced and killed some Japanese students in a small boat. That story was never fully explained.

Then we had the spy plane that "crashed" on an island near China and we had to beg the Russians to bring it back to us, piece by piece, after the Chinese had gathered all the information they needed.

Then we had the bellicose Bush talking about "axis of evil" and striding arrogantly around the world stage, just before 9/11. Today is just a continuation of the karma visited on our nation by putting into office such a greedy and power-hungry bunch of Machivellians.

Prior to that (the single best day of their lives) they were floundering and ready to unveil their "Communities of Caring" program which basically was going to blame Hollywood for all of our supposed ills (there were some in the aftermath of the Clinton years? In relation to what?). Pure Rove genius huh?

Rove had already initiated his plan to NOT get beat on the ground again by running the permanent campaign (what else is there for W to do?) from the White House reaching out to the church crowd for foot soldiers and as cover ("values voting") for the vote rigging that was coming.
