3. He thinks this will help him with "independent" voters in NH
because Lieberman won the indie vote by a large margin in 2006 in the senate race.

Most Indies in NH lean Democratic now and Holy Joe is neither Indie nor Dem. He's a Republican through and through. It doesn't matter what letters are after his name.
