Hillary Camp still hoping Holy Joe will endorse her in the general election!
According to the Hartford Courant:
"His (Lieberman's) old friend Lanny Davis, who is in Hillary Clinton's camp, still was harboring hope last night that the endorsement will apply only to the Republican primary. "I certainly hope he will keep that option open," said, Davis, a former Bill Clinton aide who worked for Lieberman's re-election last year, even after Lieberman lost a Democratic primary and continued on as a petitioning candidate..."

Of course the press is now speculating at a McCain/Lieberman ticket!

1. Some people never learn.
Lieberman is a Republican in mind and spirit.

It's time to make him extinct.

5. not just yet..
He is still "needed" to maintain the majority.. Once the '08 elections are over and IF we get a healthier majority, some serious meetings need to go on and he needs to be kicked to the curb.. No committee assignments..Nuttin', baby..

2. sounds more like Lanny Davis is hoping for that
not the "Hillary camp". What position does Davis hold in her campaign?

11. I think he's a fundraiser for Hillary--"hillraiser" and also if you google his name
he appears quite often on news programs and newspapers supporting her. Also as Bill's ex-Chief of Staff I would assume he probably is close to both Hillary and Bill.

14. He was never Clinton's
chief of staff. People just love to make shit up.

And so what if he's "close" to them? A few thousand people are "close" to the Clintons. He in no way speaks on behalf of her campaign - he's expressing his own opinion.

3. So someone associated with Hillary hopes Lieberman will come to his senses.
Well, don't we all?

As for the humor of a McCain/Lieberman ticket...I mean, that has such endless satirical possibilities, one hardly knows where to start. I'm sure it would gain tons of Republican votes, after all those years of calling him Loserman. And Democrats are always swift to vote for people who leave the party in defense of a war the country hates. Yes, indeedy.

So why are you even bringing up this ridiculous garbage?

4. yes, I wonder why Bill campaigned for Lieberman in the primary but didn't make a similar
appearance for Ned Lamont in the general?

supported Lamont in the General Election.

Sorry they didn't do enough to please YOU, but they supported Lamont nonetheless. Sen. Clinton offered to raise money for him:

Barbara Boxer campaigned for Lieberman in the primary - is she unpure now?

10. They gave token support any real support would have included
coming into CT on his behalf and perhaps taping some radio and TV spots.

13. HIllary sent him money
offered to hold a fundraiser for him, campaign by his side, and lend senior campaign aides.

Did you read the article I linked?

6. Lieberman endorsing McCain in a state where Obama had been pulling more Independents
Edited on Mon Dec-17-07 12:07 PM by blm
than Hillary will see some of those Independents peeled away from Obama.

Hillary certainly didn't WANT Lieberman endorsing her in the primary so Joe did the best thing he could have done to help the Clinton camp.

Besides, a Hillary or McCain presidency is good for Joe either way.

7. I don't buy this...after reading my print edition of the Courant today...
...and they stated, in a so-called objective article...that Holy Joe is rising in prestige among moderates...load of crap...they make things up like most newspapers do.

12. Get Lieberman OUT of our caucus!
is this not the final straw? Is this the smashing blow to pragmatic acceptance of the traitor?
