Schumer loves the Telecoms!

He used to be against immunity for the spying, lying phone companies. I had called his office in days gone by, and the aid was more than happy to tell me so. . and earlier votes backed up this stand.

Today I called again, ([phone]) looking for confirmation of his position, and to ask him what he was going to do to support Senator Dodd in his filibuster of the bad (Intel.) bill.. and the aid was no longer so certain about what the Senator thought. .

and I quote:

The Senator has been against immunity in the past. He has not issued a recent statement, so I can't speak for his current position. I will pass along your request , <to support Dodd's filibuster> if you like.
