Excuse me, Sir. Could you spare some good news for me?
I posted this question about a week ago, unfortunately, there were only two replies.

Maybe there are more replies this time around?

Is there any GOOD NEWS which you would like to share with the rest of us?

1. My sweetie is getting back from a trip this evening.
That's good news for me and the cats, anyway.

3. The daily magic show continues.
Despite our best efforts to screw it up, the sun still shines, birds still sing, the breezes still blow, people still laugh, politicians still make asses of themselves, coffee still tastes good, etc, etc.

We take ourselves far too seriously and think we are important only because we tell ourselves that we are.

Feeling bad, helpless, unable to to make a difference? Try this:

4. Tomorrow I start a new job and I will have health insurance
I've had a shitty year for jobs. I just landed a full time permanent job as a field tech which will give me a good career opportunity, a lot of freedom to do political activism, and a good salary and benefits. Its been a long time coming. Benefits start the first day, which is tomorrow, and I am thankful. I sure don't take it for granted.

5. Got the snow off the driveway, walkways, and porches.
After about 5 trips outside and the help of a neighbor with a snowblower ... clear. (Sigh.)

And my BP is down to 140/102 with pulse 89. (still puffing a bit.)

:dunce:

10. My good news is my son and grand daugther arrived last night
for a holiday visit. Haven't seen them for a few years. We are all so happy to see them and having a family dinner tonight. Some of the family are not able to come but are sending us warm wishes. We are all enjoying this happy occasion. I wish all of you light hearts and the ability to enjoy the moment when you can.
