8. I don't have confidence in those or the regulatory agencies

that stand with the people against the powerful, nor with the State Department, nor with much of the intelligence services (although it seems the neocon purge has been incomplete there) or with the ability of anyone in government to forestall a coming Depression--after all, they caused it.

I have no confidence in my future, in my country's future, or in the future of the world at large the longer these men stay in power.

All the last 7 years have left me with are deep shame and hopelessness and I don't hear a message of real change coming from my own party.

If my own party doesn't change its ways, we're finished.
