Were the Transcripts of the Interrogations shredded?

Tapes were shitcanned but what nobody mentions is that there were, no doubt, Transcripts of the Interrogations. Were those Transcripts shredded?

The evidence was obviously more damaging than possible charges resulting from the destruction of that evidence. The decision was made that it was better to risk being charged for the destruction than the evidence being in the public. I suspect that no one will actually go to prison over this.

1. Don't buy the lie Bushco doesn't have the tapes

I'm sure they do- the originals, copies and archived copies on gov't computers.

So no, I rather doubt they shredded the docs- they just said they didn't exist, and will claim that looking for them would violate national security.

3. Many on DU get excited about these type of things only

to be disappointed a few days later when nothing is done about them.

These trashed tapes are not going to amount to anything, just as that visit to Asscroft's hospital room went down the memory hole & a whole lot of other events that got people excited.
