Curtis Dean Anderson Dies (had been sentenced to more than 300 years in prison)
Curtis Dean Anderson Dies

BAKERSFIELD, CA (AP) -- A former cab driver sentenced to more than 300 years in prison for kidnapping and sexually assaulting two
young girls died today in a Bakersfield hospital.

Prison officials say Curtis Dean Anderson, 46, had been receiving treatment at the undisclosed hospital since November 28.

Anderson was serving a 251-year sentence for kidnapping and sexually assaulting an 8-year-old Vallejo girl in 2000. The victim was shackled to the front seat of Anderson's car for two days and
managed to escape by getting hold of the keys, flagging down a passing truck and diving through the open window.

Two years ago, Anderson was sentenced to another 50-years-to-life after pleading guilty to the 1999 kidnapping, molestation and murder of 7-year-old Xiana Fairchild.

1. I see very few tears being shed for this scum
Perhaps if he was in an Arkansas jail he might have gotten parole from Mike Huckabee :grr:

2. Some people should live long lives...
this was one of them.

No tears from me, I am only glad he was apprehended, tried and sentenced, before he could commit another heinous crime.

3. Pity. Keep his corpse in the cell until he's paid his dues.
Death isn't an escape for the IRS, so why should it be for prison?

5. And so ends the sad story of Xiana.
The poor child's life was already rough enough before this barbarian got his hands on her.

6. He still owes the state time
Throw the corpse in a cell until the 251 years are up.
