Should the USA offer reparations and apologies to those they
convicted and sent to prison for torturing American soldiers during WW II by using water boarding? Republicans are saying it is no different than swimming on one's back. Did we send people to jail for something that is in no way a war crime. If we did send people to prison for that should we offer apologies and reparations?
1. Well if that's the case I guess we should. How about
putting you in a bamboo cage up to your neck in water? That sounds similar and that was a violation of the Geneva Conventions and was considered torture. How about bamboo shoots under the finger nails? Maybe it just depends on who is the torturer and who is the torturee.
