Poll question: If Hillary is nominee, will she attack Republican opponent personally like she has Obama?
Edited on Wed Dec-12-07 10:35 AM by yurbud
Without commenting on whether it is an effective or moral strategy, it seems ironic that Democrats only pull out the long knives on each other and their base, and then get all Miss Manners when they are up against their Republican opponents, who would kill the Democrats cat and then accuse them of being a bad pet owner.

1. She'll coddle over, try the tired old "need a new approach, not politics of
attack crap", lose the election, and join Bill and George 41 on their sailboat and cruise around what's left of the world.

3. Killing with Kindness - She will attack their partisan ship
The Republican, particularly Giuliani if he gets the nomination, won't be able to run a positive campaign, so she'll wait for them to go on the attack, and then make the election about how nasty they are to her.

5. The only attacks on this journal and in the press that is being made
ARE OBAMA AGAINST HILLARY...IT IS DONE over and over and then they try to push that Hillary is making attacks. Sick sick sick. but then republican types that's all they do and Obama is leaning more and more toward a republican type campaign, does he have those leanings in his political leanings also.

9. I doubt it
It's been my observation that the Clintons like to try to win over the Rethugs. It fails every time and the Rethugs always come back with sharpened blades but hey...hope springs eternal I guess.

Just like Kerry was too much Mr. Nice Guy in 04 I think Clinton, in fear of offending the oligarchs will also play nice. A cryin' shame, really.

11. She'll give as good as she gets. The Clinton's will do what has to be done to win.
In that way they are like the Kennedy's.
