The calendar is $14.99 which is Cafe Press's base price -- Democratic Underground is not taking any profit from the sale of these calendars. (Think of it as our little holiday gift to you, our members.)

We originally intended to offer the calendar as a promotional item for the upcoming charity fund drive, but that proved to be somewhat complicated so instead we've decided to offer it to you separately. (In case you're wondering, we're going to try to start the charity drive next week.)

This was entirely the idea of the Photography Group. They took the pictures and gave them to us. All we did was drop them into the calendar.

I have a thing about Eagles.

Just last year, I saw a BE perched on a power pole right here in Northeastern NE. This means that there were at least two here in this small city, as they generally stick to pairing. Kind of made me feel pretty good to see these majestic birds in my area...:)

The Bush Countdown takes you all the way thru January 2009.

Every day is marked with how many days remaining until 1/20/09.

There are some real funny quotes and photos of shrub.

I know we have freedom to print in our country, but I'm offended by the lack of respect this calendar represents. There have been Presidents in the past that people have not cared for, but there has never been the open mockery that this President has faced - it purely reflects a lack of respect for the office of the President. I'm ashamed that people would publish this tripe and I'm disappointed that Amazon would put this calendar first in their list of choices.
