our soldiers would be home now with the National Guard taking care of the disasters that are plaguing our nation and millions of Iraquis and thousands of our troops would still be alive.

There is no oil in Afghanistan. The Taliban is back in control and the Afghan farmers had the best opium crop, ever, this year. That is what is coming home to America, now.

2. bush went into afghanistan because the taliban rejected his carpet of gold.

so he gave them the carpet of bombs as promised.
once they turned the country over to their unocal pal karzai the pipeline was in the bag and it was time to move on to other revenge and plunder.

4. It's even worse than that. We pushed the Taliban and al Qaida

over the border into Pakistan and they've talibanized the Tribal Region. There are training camps there and they're putting in a LANGUAGE SCHOOL so they can train volunteers from anywhere. These folks are said to be even more ideological than the people who were running Afghanistan and the Pakistani army won't touch them. Lately, they have been seen to be coordinating with the urban terror groups.

So, not only did we not manage to hold Afghanistan, but we pushed these people into Pakistan and they are thriving there.
