16. I am confused about how this is a "homophobic" poll
It seems to reflect a real political reality.

Peoples religious beliefs often dictate their stance on social issues. That is very clear.

Do they "fear" homosexuals, a few.

Do they ""hate" homosexuals, some.

I dont know maybe i am into semantics now.

17. "accepting" of homosexuals
comes across to me as a positively loaded phrase and a deliberately poor choice of wording.

Why not phrase it as: I insist my candidate not discriminate on the basis of sexual orientation.
