5. I Knew That Bush Was Nailed Dead On When The WH Refused to Comment
Unfortunately, the "Yes Mr. President Sir!" Democrats will do nothing, as usual.

And we'll keep voting for them.

So sad.

7. It's surprising no-one on DU remembers Cheney vowing to use torture before the start
of the bombing of Afgan, he said this was like no other was the US. has fought and "we may have to resort to torture techniques - nobody remembers this which is amazing because at least Dick did tell us upfront and he hasn't disappointed.

10. I remember him saying we would have to work the dark side
I don't remember him actually saying the word torture but it wouldn't surprise me.

You are absolutely right about him and the other neocons saying exactly what they meant. It's not only amazing it's mindboggling.

11. This guy was sent by the CIA to make them look like the
good guys. His story has many holes in it & he defends the CIA all the way.

13. Was it "the President" or "the White House"??
I've tried to listen closely do 'reliable sources' whenever I've had a chance, and they seem to say "the White House" far, far more often. I have to suspect that Junior doesn't want to be bothered (merely entertained) so he's 'DECIDED' to let Dickie handle it ... like most things CIA-ish.

14. The ex CIA guy did say that the Pres. authorized the
"enhanced interrogations". He defended the CIA, who sent him to do their PR.

19. Notice he wasn't on KO and Keith laid into him. He wasn't there for the actual
waterboarding so how did he know good intel came out of it. Keith was reminded that that isn't even the issue-it's illegal!

15. Whenever they say "the White House," somebody should ask
which branch Cheney is in on that day.

18. He may be working to save the CIA's rep
...but I really don't think saying that the President had to have approved the torture is going to be good for Shrub and co.

17. Why do we need the videos to prosecute this? Did the court at Nuremburg insist
on videos before their prosecutions? We have tortured victims and now CIA agents who admit to water boarding. We have laws declaring water boarding torture. One man (*) can't issue some signing statement and change the law. It's torture. It's immoral. It's against the law. Prosecute those, regardless of party, who allowed for this barbaric action to be committed in our name!

21. Here's what I think

I think Bush's horrific karma is catching up to him bigtime - whether or not the guy is a CIA plant, he is out there DIRECTLY
contradicting the a**hole in chief...it's like almost instant karma & what a delight that show was to watch.
