The economy is looking like the Hindenburg just before the fire.

Global warming is picking up speed.

And the most burning issue for some people is whether MallWart's ads say "Merry Christmas.


There are times when it all feels like too much, and I wanna go bury my head in the sand. Tonight is one of those times. I think it would be a good idea for me to get off this board, off the Net entirely, and go read a stupid novel.

3. Everything is broken and people are NOT coping anymore

Reaching the point where delusions are no longer holding. Illusions are failing. No wizard to make it all better. There will be some bad days ahead as people are forced by circumstances to deal with reality.

Find some diversion when you need to retreat. But know you have friends and fans here who hope you find the stomach to stay in the fight over the long haul.
