For anyone who refuses to vote for Hillary, would Huckabee get you to do it?
Imagine a president who turned his podium into a pulpit - with every fucking speech! Imagine his SCOTUS. Imagine his religion entering into your government and your civil liberties.

Would that get you to vote for Hillary?

Just wondering...

And yes, I'm voting Dem regardless of which wacko the pukes toss in the ring.

1. No.
I'll be voting for the most progressive, anti-war, candidate on the ballot. Even if I have to write one in.

13. But is he the MOST progressive and anti war imaginable?
That's the criterion expressed.

11. That depends on the pain threshold of my nose.
After voting for over 40 years, that threshold is much lower than it used to be when I actually believed that politicians occasionally served a useful purpose.

3. I couldn't live with myself if I didn't do everything possible to keep an Repub from winning
The Supreme Court appointments alone make it a no brainer.
I will vote my conscience in 08, and it will most likely be straight Dem.

5. No.
I live in a sky blue state, and I don't have to vote for her.
So I won't.
Ever.

6. If hillary gets the nomination it will be a moot point.
Oppostion to her is solid enough that no matter who she's up against it will wind up being a 3 point squeaker at best, and if it is that close they WILL steal it.

whether he's the nominee or not. period. the dems better do something to get people like me (and there are lots of us) to vote FOR a candidate, not against them. i'm not a republican & i don't vote in lockstep.

12. I'd vote for Hillary over Huckabee
even though I don't trust her and I scorn her for her position on the war. I'd trust Huckabee even less.

My worry, however, is that the involvement of both Huckabee and Hillary in the race will bring out the bible whacko vote in big numbers. And that could affect the composition of the Congress. A truly progressive Congress could keep Hillary in check, especially on the war and on the issue of bringing back the troops. But these two candidates facing in each other in 2008 might not ensure that strong progressive presence in the Congress come 2009.
