We are not "Dem bashing"!

I don't get folks who see our spirited debates on DU as Dem bashing. Passionate banter why my candidate trumps yours is what the primaries are all about.

Our debates are simply Democracy in action! I see them as healthy, as real, and as vital to fine tuning who we are and what we stand for. In no way do I see them as "Dem bashing" or negative. Our squabbles are nothing compared to the raft of shit that will be floated our way from the rethug camp in the GE next year.

My hope and expectation is that even if your fed up with Nancy and Harry's impotent leadership and don't like choice A,B,or C,...That when the dust settles after the Dem convention next August --- you will still be with us! From that moment on, ALL I do here will be to support the party and the likelihood of a Dem victory in November.

SCOTUS will be on the line and I could even force feed myself a vote for Hillary to protect that.

Damn good thing we free thinking folk at DU don't march in lock-step like they do on freeper sites. Our conflicts are one of the things that makes this such a fun and informative place to chill in cyberspace. Our battles define who we are and I like that! I really value appreciate and all the wise points and counter points; in other words, I appreciate YOU.

Keep up the good fight - we will need all that muscle next November.

into DU. As a result I learned far too much about my government to remain a self-respecting-democrat by virtue alone. Critical thinking became a requirement for my participation..How stupid was I? I wish I could find humor in the practice of eviscerating human beings in the name of perpetuating a myth of democracy. It all seem so sad.
