And the frog continues to boil...
So even though the dollar still falls and even though inflation continues it's upward creep, oil, oddly slowly falls. Huh, go figure?

but rest assure all is well, because gas prices at the pump are going down and honestly that's all that really matters.

So the last time we had a little run up on oil everyone freaked out, but then it started to recede! Whew! that was a close one. The national average per tank was only $2.50!!!

But rest assure my fellow gas guzzling americans, all is well!! the price of oil is going down and the price at the pump is going down again, WHEW!! another near disaster adverted.

The average nation wide price is now...wait for it...$3.00!!!

feel better now? oh boy, you know I do!!! I'm gonna jump in the car and let it warm up for a good 20-30 minutes before I get into stop and go traffic, do some jack rabbit starts at the lights and speed up to that red light. After which, I think I'm just going to cruise around town, just for the hell of it. I really look forward to going up hills with a full load.

Sigh. nothing to see here, move along.

now repeat after me as we all sing along!!!

boil that frog, hey!boil that frog, hey!boil that frog, hey!boil that frog, hey!boil that frog, hey!boil that frog, hey!boil that frog, hey!boil that frog, hey!

1. when i bought my Hybrid, there was a survey Honda wanted me to fill out -- it asked
for the responder to identify the point at which gas will cost too much to drive a regular car. i said $1.70 -- that was only a few years ago, and gas was already topping $2 per gallon.

4. Don't worry. Be happy.
Our elected representatives have investigated gas prices in the past and they assure us there is no, I repeat, NO monkey business around the price gouging er, price fixing um, politically motivated price of gas.
