Calling all politically minded people under the age of 30!

AvasArmy.com will be launching on Tuesday. What is Ava's Army exactly? Ava's Army is a blogging and networking site with the goal to inform and empower young people. The site will officially launch on Tuesday, but right now I'm reaching out to young politically minded people to sign them up to have their own Ava's Army blogs before the launch. thanks. young people are the people that NEED to be targeted right now. too many are more involved with pop culture than with the happenings of their government and country. there are many political and social activism websites out there that are targeted towards adults, but few targeted towards young people. the goal of this site is to inform and empower young people so that they begin to take part in the political process and start opening their eyes to the current issues facing our country. :hi:

3. Up til they are 40 politically minded don't exsist they are

too busy with American Idol, Britany, Lindsey, Paris, and all the hollywood types. "Most" not all tho, of them don't know how to spell political much less be one.

13. I would assume that most people in their 30s who are not politically minded are worried

about losing their jobs, feeding their kids, and so forth.

I'm 32 and I know of almost nobody in my age group who is overly concerned with celebrity. (As an occasional escape, sure...but beyond that? No.)

and it's not about young vs. old. i can't believe people are actually reacting that way, lol. it's about informing my generation for the tasks we face in the future when we run the country and about getting young people involved now. politics shouldn't be something that only adults are concerned with. teens and young adults should also be concerned with the issues their country faces and part of the political process. that is what ava's army is about.
