"He's still my President"
Edited on Sun Dec-09-07 11:51 PM by senseandsensibility
I saw this on a bumper sticker in California this week-end. Is this a popular sticker elsewhere? I have to admit to being a little cheered when I saw it. At least it means the bushbots know that everyone else has rejected him, right? A tiny little bit of awareness is creeping in inspite of their best efforts.:)

2. LOL
At first, I didn't get the message. I thought maybe the sticker was referring to Gore, and almost gave the thumbs up sign!

LOL.
Isn't that an unbelievably pitiful sticker, though. I mean, I can almost imagine some poor German driving his "people's car" around the ruins of Berlin in mid 1945 with a "He's still my Fuhrer' sticker on the car.

If all you've got to worship is the job title, it's time to admit defeat.

3. OC Report
I work in the heart of Orange County, and haven't seen that bumperstrip yet.

It's f*cking pathetic though, ain't it?

6. Sort of desperate I think
That kind of blind loyalty is not only desperate but a bit frightening, especially when you feel the need to advertise it.

19. That kind of blind loyalty is what led many to do the bidding of Hitler. They "followed orders."
Ein Volk!
Ein Reich!
Ein Fuehrer!

4. A twenty percenter for sure.

I don't know why they like to advertise their stupidity like that. Shit-for-Brains could throw a Brownie troop into a swamp full of starving alligators and he would still be their president.

17. The 29% lack the character to admit a mistake.
They consider themselves the "loyal patriots" but they are simpleminded fools who blame everything on the Democrats.

22. Defining president, one can't put W's name in the same sentence, the man
was installed in the white house to further enrich big business so much it'll take more then 8 years to unravel his mess and by this time? how many boomers will get dead?!?

I'd be humiliated to have something like that on my car.

24. bush was never my president and never will be.
Heck, he isn't even the president after stealing two elections. His remaining supporters are almost entirely people who are ignorant (sometimes willfully so) and do not know what is really going on, i.e. Fox Noise viewers (who actually know less about the real world than those who watch no news at all on TV). Smaller bushbot groups include the mentally ill, the religiously insane, and the greedy super-rich. All richly deserve the marginalization they are finally beginning to experience.

27. The polite thing to do is to offer condolences.
Yeah, you can still find the occasional "W: Still the President" sticker out there. It's sad; the car's owner may be tacitly acknowledging *'s epic mismanagement/pillage (or at least his record-breaking unpopularity), but the numbskull is defiant enough to taunt us with a "Ha, ha. My side is still winning," perhaps only dimly aware that the plutocrats are on no one's side but their own.
