3. Well, we didn't run into the streets on the blow job, either.
And I would bet 90% of our citizens really don't think we were that close or anywhere near nuclear war. Because they believe it would have been on the news.

A decade of relative peace and great prosperity and a blow job was more heinous than the Crimes against the State of this misAdministration????

11. We sure need to get that press thingy right
Edited on Sun Dec-09-07 10:42 AM by madokie
a democracy has to have an honest press that is completely free in order to survive. we don't have that now and that is why we are loosing our democracy today

Add: fix the press and all the other problems will take care of themselves, gotta fix the free press first though imo

12. Point of correction, it was because Clinton lied under oath about it.
Now what we should be in the streets about is that Congress is not pursuing the wilful outing of a CIA agent by this administration. For that alone bush should be impeached

We should be out in the streets because of the IWR. A resolution that over-ruled the War Powers Act.

We should be out in the streets because of the illegal wire tapping, and government scantioned torture

Yes, there is no comparision between lying under oath about a sexual event, and invading a country based on a lie

15. Clinton was trapped into lying under oath
Bush lied to us and killed hundreds of thousands of innocents and tens of thousands of our children.

But yet we sit here and talk about it.

When is America going to find the guts of the Boomer's in the 60's and put it on the line?

27. "Trapped into lying". All he had to do was not answer the question for gosh sakes
All I am saying is you are comparing perjury about sex, with an illegal war, illegal survalence, and so many other
impeachable crimes the bush administration did

As far as your question about America having the guts they did in the 60's, it took time for that to get started also, because people initially believed the lies about Nam

The sad fact is that it seems that Americans have learned nothing from that experience

29. You missd the point entirely. But that's OK.
America impeached the last great President of our lifetime over a blow job. Chimpster can still do damage. And it didn't take as long for our anger to brew against the war in Viet Nam as you may have thought, we were out there in the 60's (remember the Democratic Convention in 68?), but there is no visible anger on the streets against this illegal war.

Some days Windex is an alternative.

20. This shows the Power of a Unified Party.
Majority of GOP sticks with Bush.

Just when a vote counts some Blue Dogs and or DLC will
triangulate with GOP.

Bush told us years ago Iraq would not fail on his watch.
If Bush does anything he means what he says in instances
like this. He and GOP do not care what happens once
they leave office. The Democrats can then do what they
wish. Of course they are working their behinds off to
put a GOP President in to follow Bush. This would keep
the Bush Legacy alive and the new GOP could clean up the
mess and the Democrats would never really see all the deeds.

it takes a true believer to take a baton to the head from a fascist cop and most Americans really don't give a damn about America when it comes down to self sacrifice.

remember, only about ONE THIRD of the colonists supported the Revolution.

We have leadership that is working for Dubya and the GOP itself. I've seen them sell us out long enough to come to this conclusion.

26. Corrupt Bastards Club, check. Corrupt Bastards Club, check. M$M, check.
M$M, check.

The Rs are culpable on both counts. Plus, add a propaganda count.

And, the media is an extension of the Rs at best, of the Corrupt Bastards Club at worst.

30. I've been rereading "All the Presidents Men" and comparing
Nixon's escapades to Shrub. Funny - the book was a real page turner the first time around. This time I think "Is that all he did?" No countries invaded, no hundreds of thousands of dead people, no trillion dollars+ down the crapper. Shrub might not have bested Poppy, but he sure as hell has outdone Nixon.
