Murdered women's mothers blame Huckabee
for his part in killer's release

Kansas City Star

Dec. 9, 2007

Presidential candidate Mike Huckabee said Tuesday he is “heartbroken” over the pain suffered by the families of two women murdered in the Kansas City area more than six years ago.

Authorities say the two victims, Carol Shields and Sara Andrasek, were killed by the same man: Wayne DuMond, who was released from an Arkansas prison in 1999, a year before Shields’ murder.

Their mothers say Huckabee is responsible, at least in part, for the release of DuMond, who died in a Missouri prison in 2005.

“What a fool,” Lois Davidson, Shields’ mother, said of Huckabee. “Thinking he could rule the country when he couldn’t even do a good job as governor of Arkansas.”

Don't forget, you heard recently here, Minister of Death - Mike Huckabee and first in 2002 from Murray Waas and then a stunning update by Waas just a few days ago. Good luck winning Missouri ifthis guy runs.

1. I don't understand what possible interest Huckabee
would have had in pushing for this character to be released?

2. Reat "Minister of Death" - he's a bit on the bent side....

He's ready to rock and roll with World War III, which fits nicely into his end of the world marginalist view of Biblical prophesy. What's letting one guy who's in "the club." He was strongly lobbied by a fellow minister, public figure and the rapists wife! Of course, he was signing a death warrant for a schizophrenic prisoner, one who everybody agreed was and probably had been mentally ill most of his life. Life is not a priority for him.

3. the victim was a distant relative of CLINTON
and conservatives were pushing heavy the notion that the rapist was being rail-roaded and boo-hooing his sentence. This is one sordid, sickening tale of the lengths the rabid-right went in their hatred for all things Clinton.

5. The Real Huckster in charge of more than 50 states, he couldn't even manage one
No thx......... We've had way to much of that already.

Janet Williams, Andrasek’s mother, said: “Wayne DuMond should have never been on the streets in Missouri. …When politics are involved, people get hurt, and Sara and Carol Shields paid the ultimate price with their lives.”

“I’m deeply sorry for what they’ve been through,” Huckabee said in a phone interview with The Kansas City Star. “Nothing I can do or say can reduce their level of grief.”

But the Republican said he hoped the families — and the public — would fully understand his role in DuMond’s release from custody.

“I should be held responsible for the things I did,” Huckabee said. “The one thing I didn’t do is let him go.”

Oh yeah, I understand perfectly, the republicons fought tooth and nail to get DuMond released from prison. Sorry, but I can't give ANYONE a pass on letting a rapist go free. He should have remained behind bars where he belonged. Instead Mr. Holier Than Thou Huckster decided he would play god and let the rapist go free, where he raped and murdered TWO women. Two women who will never get the chance of a full life. Taken by a man (?) who had been safely behind bars. A man (?) who deserved to serve his sentence for his first crime of raping a 17 year old girl.

It's quite interesting that the republicons were going after Clinton for his sexcapade's with consenting adults, all the while defending a man (?) who raped a 17 year old. I guess it's just business as usual with the these cretins.

K&R'd....... :hi:Mike

7. Perfect. He should be held responsible. And now it's his "End Times" politically
He's getting a lot better deal than the murdered due to his "generosity."

6. He is not at all popular in Arkansas according to a woman I spoke with last week.
She lives there and has yet to see a Huckabee campaign sign. She said she had only seen a slew of Ron Paul signs and two Kucinich signs, one of which was her own.

I'm torn over which of the Repub candidates are the scariest.

What a glue crew.

10. You're righ on that. The smear started with Huckabee's denials of any involvement.

From Fox
:http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,315327,00.html

" New Republican presidential frontrunner Mike Huckabee is "categorically" denying that while governor of Arkansas he tried to pressure the parole board to release a convicted rapist who later went on to rape and murder a Missouri woman.

Huckabee, who is surging in recent primary polls, has been called on to defend his record, following reports that he played an active role in seeking the release of prisoner Wayne Dumond.

"No. I did not. Let me categorically say that I did not," Huckabee said Tuesday, adding that while governor he denied a request for Dumond's commutation."

This is a COMPLETE lie. He's finished. There's beau coup evidence. The alternative press in Arkansas, The Arkansas Times, is fierce and well documented. The people he pressured havde already talked. It's a lock that he'll be proven a liar.

11. This piece of dirt from Arkansas
must be stopped. He's another like Bush....a 'religious' nut who enjoys inflicting pain, especially on women.

Another sadist. And when speaking to other 'religious' nuts, ask them if they've ever heard of 'false prophets.' I am so sick of sheeple.

16. Elmer & Andy Griffith who starred in "A Face in the Crowd" - who kinows.
The death stuff is really strange. On some level, he knew these guys were vile creatures, yet he allowed them to be freed. Some hidden hostility toward the world?

17. Not So Strange Really
when you consider that he didn't seem so bothered by what his son did to that dog, and then encourages his son to carry a gun.

Yep, the Face In The Crowd comparison is another good one.

15. If he is truly "heartbroken", let him quit the race
How can someone who is thoroughly heartbroken over his past mistakes continue having any confidence in his ability to govern in the future?

I guess he's not really all that heartbroken. It's probably a choice of words his campaign staff came up with.
